It's Nympha again.(from >>176390) I ended up doing a quick sketch of her while I was working. Mostly this is just practice for making sure I can draw her consistently at different angles. I cleaned it up a bit once I got home and it turned out pretty well.
I seem to have forgotten to scale the image down a bit before uploading her, but whatever. |

if you plan on continuing this ive got an idea.. SA and 'Cadance' concive a foal... but then she gets sick and the whole truth comes out... and Chrysalis shows up to save her family. |

Oh no, Cadance existing is essential to the drama.
And I already have everything mapped out in my head, I'm just working on figuring out how information gets revealed so that everything flows naturally while still leaving people guessing a bit. |

oh sure, it would be cool, but dealing with what happened to Cadance is half your drama... Well, maybe a third.
To put simply, if the story was about how Nympha was Cadance all along, then the story would pretty much just consist of; "Nympha, Y U NO JUST TELL HIM ALREADY!?" and is just a tale of a changeling with too many feelings and not enough confidence, but with Cadance actually having been replaced, there is a real and tangible reason why Nympha can't tell Shining Armor the truth. Those reasons will all have to be addressed, so it becomes a story of love, questionable morality, fear, loss, rejection, suffering, discovery, and redemption. One of the major problems with OCs is that too many people make their story revolve entirely around that OC. Nympha is really only one of several point of views within the story, and initially she wasn't even intended to survive it. |
