Reminds me of Sex Ed. class in junior high. They showed a video of a baby being born. One third of the class was fine with it, the other third though it was groos, and the final third was expecting Lt. Ellen Ripley to come save the day. |

Technically speaking, humans are pretty much the only mammals that have that kind of difficulty during child birth. It is entirely a side effect of the way the human pelvis adapted for bipedal locomotion. Other mammals, horses and ponies included, do not have the same kind of strained, painful labor. |

I remember we were watching a birthing in sex ed, and for some reason the teacher had to rewind the tape. So we watched that baby come out, get sucked back in and come out again. It was both disturbing and hilarious. |

What make it really funny for me when I took that class, it wasn't sex ed but a class that covered it called parenting, was that my mother was teacher for that class, so it was far from new to me how others would react to seeing that video. |
