During my first child's birth, they gave my ex-wife an epidural. Blood fountained from it during each push. Nearly passed out.
During my second, I didn't even look below the waist. |

@PhilSrobeighn
Dammit Phil,now I'm scared shitless of giving birth. |
| PhilSrobeighn #1355850 2 months ago |
@813 It's a glorious miracle of life
And then they press your already-pained body really hard so you pass the afterbirth, the most foul smelling and ugly thing in existance. |

It's not so bad seeing your little sister being born.
It's getting the close-up of his Mom's cooter all swollen & distended that's gonna keep Shining Armor awake at nights. |

Other mammals don't have the kind of difficulties humans have giving birth. Humans are anomalous that way, and its because our hips are adapted for walking, not birthing. |
| Anonymous #1355898 2 months ago |
There, there, Shining Armor. All you need to do is close off the scary things. Think of a bubble. A strong bubble. That way you'll never have to see that image again. |

| TorqueEffect #1356200 2 months ago |
@888
That is complete BS, I have seen Animal Planet, They sure as hell have the same amounts of complications with birthing. They just don't show how much pain they are in anywhere near as much as humans do. |

Actually, my mom didn't really have an trouble during her three births, and me and my siblings were all born at home. She said she screamed in pain a little with my brother (the oldest) but hardly made a sound when I was born. I was in the house when my little brother was born and I didn't hear a peep from my room which wasn't very far away. |

I now totally look forward to my wife's pregnancy!

horses don't give birth that way... |
| Lancer #1356536 2 months ago |
Human babies have really big heads for their body size compared to animals like horses. That's another anomaly.
That's also why we think big heads on small bodies looks cute. |
| TorqueEffect #1356671 2 months ago |
@Everypony
Nopony cares! =P @Lancer I guess I am the only human on earth who doesn't think anything with a big head and a small body as cute. |

O damn, the funny thing about this is that I have seen some parents do this. Why did they bring their children to see this? Is it taboo that some people overcome? |
| Yorec #1357216 2 months ago |
TomiGun@1357210 said: I guess some parents want their kids to experience the miracle of childbirth. But at a kids age all they see is their mother screaming in agony as some fleshy creature emerges from her. |
