calm down Gitton. It's not like he said it sucks. If anything he's just noting that the quality of the script is simply outpacing the quality of the artwork. I agree, a little more quality could do wonders for this whole thing.
Unfortunately, it's likely that the artist is the same as the writer, and is simply pushing out the art as fast as possible to keep their writing from stalling out.
I have the same problem, which has been keeping me from even starting several stories for mlp.

I don't know. I love this story and drawing style too -- it just has author's personality. There's no need in storyline like this one to have "realistic" artwork because it could steal the show.

Just look at this Dash Academy comic and look how the artist got better with time.

Personally, I find the art style charming! Bon-Bon looks super cute, and the way their expressions light up when they get happy makes MY face get super happy, too. It took conscious effort to stop grinning when the Doctor and Derpy saw each other a few pages back.
