^ Good point. They did not plan a diversion, and with Pinkie being alone the whole day, of course she was going to get suspicious of something. Then again, Pinkie Pie is the one who's specialty is parties, so perhaps the other 5 wouldn't have realized that? |

You know, if it hadn't been for the little 'crazy eyes' clips, it could have just passed as typical Pinkie Pie weirdness... a sad sulky little pony playing with her imaginary friends at an imaginary "party", and she didn't invite her friends because they were all poopyheads so there!
It's those little segments where her eyes go wonky that change the whole mood to something perturbing. |

Misdirection and confusion and misreading a situation is drama 101. I love how WAIFU fans of this fandom considers everything to be too cruel or a bad moral.
Plus, socially active people losing their social bond, that's the kind of stuff that causes suicides in real life. |
