Tinkerbell's OK, but I don't really seem to grab a liking to it. I just can't feel the characters.
And Rapunzel wasn't that good. It seemed like the typical Barbie to me, but without the fru-fru Mary Sue element. Anyways, none of those two become that popular, and I don't think any of these fandoms are actually prosecuted not even ours really is. We just get a random stream of trolls. |

I'm gonna be totally unironically honest: The Barbie-movies are actually pretty decent.
Admittedly they arent on the level of FIM where I said "You know what? This is fucking awesome!" and more on the line of "You know what? This isn't actually that bad..." The female main-character is pretty proactive, is a decent role-model but still has her flaws and some of the villains are pretty badass. But to quote tvtropes, the main problems is focus, the movies ususally aren't sure, what they're about: is it a musical? is it an adventure? goes it more for a girly or tomboy heroin? etc. etc... Oh, and the CGI is just crap... |

I watched the first Tink flick. It wasn't too bad! It had a nice cast too. Lucy Liu, Mae Whitman, America Ferrera, etc. Never watched the Barbie flicks...nor do I really want to. The CG scares me... I have watched W.I.T.C.H though, and really liked it. I tried watching Winx Club, but I never really got into it. |

Bronies think they are persecuted? I've not noticed that.
If anything I've noticed a lot of dudes claiming that My Little Pony is made for them, rather then understanding that they are fans of a well made show that's primary audience is still young girls. Little girls like awesome stuff just like the rest of us. |
