Well Celestia, apparently nothing screams "incompetent" like promising to protect your people and then getting swatted out of the air like a bug ten seconds later. At least you tried, and got taken down by Love!Power. Because Love defeats everything.

Celestia and Luna were able to wield the Elements of Harmony by themselves. But since they disconnected from the Elements when the mane 6 wielded them, both Celestia´s and Luna´s power diminished. |

So far, the only really impressive thing she's done was at the end of Lesson Zero, where she cast Mass Break Curse and spoke in Canterlot capslock.
Other than that, she's bean beaten by Nighmare Moon and Chrysalis; and didn't even TRY to fight against Discord. For all of her "godly powers", she really is turning into the show's Worf. (see also: tvtropes) |
