If Pinkie doesn't learn the all-important lesson of "It's important to respect others' personal space" I will be kind of upset. She REALLY needs to learn to keep her hooves to herself. At times it's cute and funny, but at others... Jesus Christ Pinkie, in the real world you'd end up passed out on the ground with a broken jaw.

Sometimes you gotta just take that chance.

Am I the only one who wanted to choke Pinkie during that episode?

Pinkie was awesome in this episode, though also very tiring.

"If you keep annoying somebody (especially strangers) long enough they'll give you what you want."
Yeah...I nominate that one for the most misguided message of the season.

@Ginger

It can work sometimes, though.

@Braeburn, but it has a more likely chance to get your ass kicked, or shot.......or both, or robbed.

this_is_a_joke, but in all seriousness, they are kind of crap at the morals. I'd say just don't do them instead of being crap at it, but I know they required to do so because it sells to parents better that way.

I guess I blame parents for being shallow.

@St. Braeburn; I sure it does work sometimes. I'm also sure any little girl who follows this lesson with a new stanger in her apartment complex stands and equal chance of winding up buried in a shallow grave in the woods.

Wow, look at all these grown ups that can't figure out a lesson from a kids cartoon.

I can't say that I disagree with this one.
I mean, Yeah, Sure, I liked that episode, but Pinkie's actions where a tad... Immortal.

I thought Pinkie was so over the top that she served as a counter-example (Or non-example?), the episode makes it clear that she is in the wrong.

^ But if she hadn't butted in Cranky and whatshername wouldn't have found each other again. Pinkie was totally written as the hero of the episode.

The problem with that one is that it's split into three contrasting parts:

There's the song sequence (probably the best use of Pinkie's character ever) that portrays her as a person who genuinely loves everyone around her...

There's a slapstick comedy bit where she bothers the hell out of Cranky and his pain and embarrassment are supposed to be funny and Pinkie just seems like a foolish nuisance...

And then there's the sudden happy ending where all of Pinkie's nonsense is vindicated because pony shows are happy.

It's fun but not-quite-functional episodes like this which kind of bummed me out about the second season.
