The way I look at it, I think clothing is a need to cover up. Ponies don't usually wear clothes, but when they do, at least in panties, they hide something. Without clothes, you can see that nothing is there. With clothes, however, something might actually be there.
I don't really know how to explain it. I have the thoughts, but they don't convert to words very well. |

Or the idea of clothes making you think of what is under there, or in the case of panties they draw the eye directly to the pony parts! |
