My best guess is there will be only 13 episodes next season, but they'll all be as long as the finale was. If that works well, that's the model they'll use from now on. Or, you know. It's way the fuck too early to start making assumptions. And MLP FiM is Hasbro's swollen cash cow right now, why on earth would they cancel their money maker? |

Uh, guys, you got it all wrong.
See, the thing that sprouted this rumor was a screenshot from a TopDraw website that said Hasbro ordered 13 episodes to be animated. The way the show works is Top Draw animates 13 episodes, and the Studio B in-house animators animate the other 13. It's to split the workload. Otherwise, we'd have seasons coming out MUCH slower. Season 3 is getting the same old 26 episode formula, so stop spreading disinformation. |

Eh, I figure we'd get a full season of 26, at least. If we got that I'd be okay with the show ending. I think the show could maintain quality up to season 5, but I'd rather the show go out on top then fade away to suckiness. |

Nah. It'll get 13 episodes, maybe put on a short hiatus for the creative team to rest up and then they may do 13 episode seasons like anime seasons are like nowadays.
Look at South Park. They usually have 6 or 7 episode spurts until the next batch months later. |
