Seriously, the main character AND Grovyle when on what they knew was a death mission, and they both were DEAD at the end of the game!

^But later on, the MC and his partner get nightmares telling them that the world is in danger, and it's all their fault, and that in order to save it, they need to commit suicide.
And this game is rated E. I guess the censors were lazy. |

Yet it was bashed by everyone for not being like the main titles. In other words, they want all the elements from Mystery Dungeons in their main titles despite ruining a strict formula that works. |

nintendo games always have their own dark and unsettling secrets
e.g:- giygas from earthbound ; river twigz from paper mario ; lavender town from pokemon red/blue/yellow/green ; etc |

Just imagine if Pinkie and Applejack met Guildmaster Wigglytuff.
Your sides would ache for weeks to come! Then Dusknoir, Primal Palkia, and Darkrai show up and make Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Queen Chrysalis look like amateurs in the villainy department. Destroying souls and possessing the corpse to murder the victim's friends, permanently stopping time and making everyone turn into mindless savages, and wanting to drag the world into endless darkness and terrifying nightmares out of sheer sadism. Yep, this crossover would be awesome. |
