Usually true, NightJack, but there are cases where a mother will abandon her children if it comes down to her surviving, or her children. If she dies, the children will too. If they die, she can make more.
Of course, it doesn't apply to this situation, as the mother trusts the babies to be safe with the human. Rather naive of her, but fluffies. Whoever's writing these, don't stop. |

That's what I mean lordanubis, there have been fluffy stories where the babies would have really been safe and taken care of if she gave up her life but the writer just had the mother pick to let her babies die in a case when both would die from her doing so. |
