Seriously, we do. There's so many alternate spellings it's impossible to accurately use that tag. "vinyl_scratch" KINDA suffices, but we need one for this too. |

No, we need a cutback on irrelevent meta posts. We have Vinyl Scratch as a name as well as DJ Pon3/DJ P0n3 as a name which was blessed upon her during the Equestria girls advert. Both are usually tagged with each picture, so it isn't worth worrying about. |

Yeah, I can understand that.
But I think that the most used one is dj_pon3, while all others are just a few exceptions. Which are not too many to worry about. It's their own problem if they can't tag it properly. Right now I can't really judge though because the search system is not working properly for me now. |

This also applies to a few other characters like Cadance or Cadence. Sometimes it also applies to bonbon or bon_bon. |

Citation, so you know I've been trying to unify all the pictures featuring everyone's favorite DJ as "DJ_Pon-3", as per the wikia spelling and "Vinyl_scratch", as per the fandom's agreed birth name. I've also been doing so with misspelled tags, improper tagging (ex. tagging Rainbow Dash as "rainbow dash" instead of "rainbow_dash") and others with multiple names like Trixie, Bon Bon, the Cakes, Rarity's parents, and Twilight's parents. I'm sorry if my actions have caused problems with my fellow bronies, but OCD kicked in somewhat especially when I saw that Vinyl had like 10+ tags (sometimes not even including the "Vinyl_scratch" tag) at the time:
DJ_p0n-3 (most common) DJ_pon-3 (official, 2nd most common) DJ_pon3 DJ_p0n3 DJ-pon-3 DJ-pon3 DJpon3 DJ_pon3- (WTF) DJ-pon_3 throatwarbler_mangrove In short, would it be okay to continue, or will I piss more people off? |

Why do they all alias to "dj_p0n-3" now? The most official one is "dj_pon-3" (and the second most official one is "dj_pon3"). |
