How bout we don't remove the posts, but set it so ALL comments made by a banned account are deleted instead?
Is it possible to do that? I feel that this would cause less disruption than what OP is suggesting. |

I changed the spam tag to about_spam, because many people like to filter everything with the spam tag out.
And perhaps it is possible to make the site automatically delete all spam comments if they are identical. I guess banning doesn't work as they will likely create new accounts. Or Eco adds something, where comments that link to that certain site will not get posted. |

The mods do have a comment word filter available to them that can be applied to the whole site. But that what require having a assembled list of the websites listed in each of the spam comments. |
