Yeah because if Celestia used her full power she would killed everypony in the room. Seriously it would have been like using a RPG-7 in hostage rescue. |

@Jack Celestia did use her full power, or else she would have used just enough to beat the queen or have gotten back up. Face it, everyone in Equestria is just waiting for that one monster strong and evil enough to kill the whole country before the power of Love or Friendship comes to save them. Except Twilight, she will ensure her survival and build a necromantic empire from the ruins. |

They were to many innocent ponies in that room it would have been impossible for her to use her full power. And "used just enough to beat the queen" as if using the precise amount of power is that easy. |
