Any particular reason of why the flag is right to left instead of left to right?

EXCUSE ME OP, CAN I GET SOME YES WITH THIS WIN

@anon624
Imagine you're running into battle holding the flag on a pole above you. As you run forward the flag flows the other way, and thus the design is reversed.

^Assuming that's on the right shoulder, it's so the flag is advancing... just as it would look if you were standing to the right of someone flying the flag.

If it was "correctly" oriented, the flag would be retreating.

OP, what branch are you with, man? You got ACU, DCU, ABU, Multi-Cam... basically everything but MARPAT and NWU... with Army E-5 and Air Force E-3 rank.

Wat?

@Nightweaver20xx

If all the patch photos are from the same guy, I'm leaning more toward airsoft. Guy's got parts of uniforms from at least 2 different branches and enlisted rank insignia that conflict with each other.

There's no reason someone would legitimately have US Army (ACU) and US Air Force (ABU) uniforms... the unlikely exception would be if he was an Air Force TACP of CCT assigned to an Army unit, but then he wouldn't be an E-3 in the USAF and wear an Army E-5 rank... he'd be in ACUs with his USAF E-3 rank.

Plus, I doubt his superiors would let him wear a non-standardized patch unless for some reason they had the whole unit wearing it.
