How would gender reassignment surgery even work in a land of talking magic ponies? I guess they could do it with magic. And why does Fluttershy get painted as a transexual? What, an athletic, outgoing stallion could feel like he was born in the wrong body, it has to be an extremely passive stallion? |

Actually, OP isn't too far off. RD does look down on Fluttershy for being a weak baby, but RD does have enough compassion to at least help Fluttershy become a better pony. |

As a transgirl (non-op mtf transgender, I really don't want to go into the details of the semantics) myself, I really like the idea of a transgender fluttershy. Fluttershy is shy and anxious, which really fits my own experience. But Fluttershy ultimately isn't weak, and neither am I. So I don't really get OP. |
