Sonic and Dash - Fast, with powers relating to the sound barrier. - Cocky and they both know it. - Very loyal to their friends. - Somehow connected to rainbows (Rainbow Dash, Chaos Emeralds). Knuckles and Applejack - Strong and responsible types - Honest types, too; I've never seen Knuckles tell a lie. And Applejack's the element of honesty. - Want to live simple, peaceful lives (on a farm or taking care of the Master Emerald in solitude). Tails and Twilight Sparkle - Cute, smart types. - Tails didn't have any friends (picked on because of his two tails) before meeting Sonic; kinda like Twilight was meeting her friends. - Twilight knows magic and a little machinery (that machine in her basement in Feeling Pinkie keen), Tails knows machinery and a little magic (Chaos Emeralds, enough to know how to make a fake one). Shadow and Pinkie Pie - Pinkie Pie's life-calling is making ponies smile. Shadow's purpose in life is "making people happy" since that was Maria's last wish. - They both use powers that are difficult to comprehend (Chaos Control and Fourth Wall). - They both have a sad past and, as such, a darker side to them (Shadow's time on the ARK and Pinkamina Diane Pie). Cream and Fluttershy - Caring and gentle. - Little sidekicks (Cheese the Chao and Angel Bunny). - They can handle themselves when pushed, or when the going gets tough. Rouge and Rarity - “Hotties” of the cast. - Obsessed with gems. - They use their charms to get what they want. - You would pay entire internets to see these two make out, admit it! |

Oh, they have differences too; for example, Sonic and Dash would probably start off hating each other because of how competitive they both are.
Knuckles and Applejack are different because one lives alone and is the last of his kind, while the other can't imagine life without a family. Tails and Twilight would get in arguments over general scientific theory since they're from different worlds annd would have conflicting opinions. Fluttershy and Cream aren't ever that kind of a shipping-pairing (more of a friendshipping). Rouge and Rarity are the same, yet opposites (one's the most generous pony ever, and the other's a professional thief!). And let's be honest, can you imagine Shadow and Pinkie Pie getting along at first? I've tried not to make the ship foils here, they've got as many differences as similarities. But yeah, can we haz Rarity-Rouge shipping now? |

Same here, I loved the old games. Which is why it pains me that the Sonic fandom is a darker abyss than even the furry fandom. At least there are good furry artists, and I've met a few decent furries in real life. One of the most beautiful women I know? Totally a furry, I was shocked and astounded. I'd wear a fursuit if that's what it would take to tap that ass. Mmmm.
...Got off topic there. Needless to say, sonicfags are bad business. Let's not ship these two and make them work, because that will bring the fandoms together and subject us to the horror that is their fandom. Bronies are seen with a mix of good humor and tentativeness, introduce that shit and you can say goodbye to whatever good image we have. |

You DO realise most of the bronies I know today are from the Sonic fandom? No, really; we had to know each other before the Pony-phenomenon hit, after all. No need to say we're gonna be "subjected" to the Sonic fandom when a lot of us were part of it to begin with! lol But seriously, not all of us are bad. Assuming all Sonic fans are Sonicfags is as false as assuming all Bronies are like the guys in that "Brownies" vid. @Yorec I'm not a fan of the fandumb either.
