shining armor was her only friend, before spike ever even came into the picture. I feel that after she took her exam, that's when they started to drift apart. Then when she ultimately moved to ponyville, their drifting had already come to a close.

Guys, maybe all this is just, oh I dunno, a plothole. I mean, in past episodes, and even in the full version of theme song, Twilight mentions how she never even had friends in Canterlot.
There is the fact that maybe she just exaggerates and is prone to massive errors of perception, and simply forgot to mention Spike and Shining Armor were her friends in Canterlot. And would you guys please stop saying Spike is her slave. If you all remember Owl's Well That Ends well, Spike likes helping Twilight out. And wouldn't want to let his job be taken by a chore-snatching owl. Twilight isn't making him do all this work. He likes to help her out, because he knows without it, she'd be screwed. |

-Twilight only worried about him because if he left, she wouldn't have anyone to throw around walls anymore. -Rarity only worries about him because when he's gone, her source of free fire rubies goes with him. -The other ponies worry about him because without Spike, they won't have anyone to boss around or pick on for their own entertainment. Spike should go rampage mode and teach his so called friends a lesson because his current friends suck. He deserves better friends. Trololol |
