A Sweetie <3's Spike episode would still be nice to see, even though like most of us I support the canon shipping. 'Hearts and Hooves Day' certainly proved that Sweetie has the drive to do so if she wanted.
That and I think Spike and the CMC have had the least interaction out of all the characters in the show. |

This was just for fun. For the obvious reason that Rarity never rejected Spike, quite the opposite in fact...Quite honestly, somehow the idea of a 13 year dating an 8 year old is far more creepy then a 13 year old and a 19 year old having interest in each other and not actually dating until later.
Fact is, Spike is mentally way older then the cutie mark crusaders, and as long as things don't get physical until later, that age barrier bother's me a bit more then Spike and Rarity's. |

Its complicated when you can't tell their ages. Here's another thing. Rarity and Sweetie Belle are siblings but their (fan) ages are almost average 10 years apart. Is it normal for siblings to be 10 years apart in age gap? |

^ We can deduce two things
Either Rarity is even younger than we think (Maybe 16-18) or Sweetie Belle is older (14-15) which i really doubt it. |

Sounds like you have a big family. I myself have a brother that's 6 years younger than me. But the thing is, we have a sister in between that's 3 years younger than me and 3 years older than my brother. Rarity and SB don't have any siblings in between but people estimate Rarity to be 20+ and SB is 10+. Its why there was a rumor before that SB was Rarity's daughter only to be clarified that SB is really Rarity's younger sister. |

As to the 10 year age gap, not exactly normal but my little sister is 11 years younger than myself. Also, every wedding I've ever been to has had the ring bearer and flower girl dance together. |
