Plus, we've seen Dinky spend a lot of time with Carrot Top and Written Script in "The Last Roundup".
Dinky+Sparkler being Derpy's foals is as "bad" as them being Carrot Top's and Written Script's. Maybe worse, as Carrot Top has Sweet Wheat as a younger sister. Younger than her supposed older daughter (Sparkler) |

Simlun has a 'problem' with this fanon because Derpy was at the young flier's championship, and therefore it seems strange to him that she can already have a grown-up daughter alongside Dinky.
It's not a general dislike of the whole fanon, it's a balanced attempt to show, using already-established canon, how new canon could, I repeat, could demolish this. Of course there are alternatives. The picture above shows one such alternative view to the fanon as a result of the episode. |
