Well if she's wealthy enough for one of those then Trixie is clearly talented enough to make some good money, even if she's a laughable excuse for a unicorn. |

What? She's a pretty pony but a terrible unicorn. Her special talent is basically parlor tricks, her actual magic is hilariously weak.

Ultimate Trixie sort of addresses that. She's actually pretty talented for a Unicorn, but she's sunk it all into fancy flashy just-for-appearance magics, not actual practical application.
Her outward appearance is magically enhanced through her own means, basically having molded her own body to look more "regal" and having a physique more in-line with the Princesses than an actual unicorn. I like to think that when she gets bitchsmacked by Twilight she just goes poof and turns back into a normal pony bodyshape, much to her chagrin. |
