Oh yeah, that guy who called us all man-children. What a silly person. |

I think Kurt Schlichter needs ponies in his life. |

Or maybe with the magic of an MG42. |

Why do people always have to make statements out of ignorance? |
| Anonymous #1333710 2 months ago |
That article is hilarious! It's so ridiculously overblown. |
| Anonymous #1333715 2 months ago |
Apparently, we are terrifying. Terrifying! Mr. Schlichter must scare really easily. |
| Forestman #1333745 2 months ago |
Is he just not a troll who likes to write silly stories. I've read the article about "the men who watch a girly pink girl show when they must fight in Afganistan" and I got the idea it is just a hoax.
Or think I too positive about the U.S.A.? |

Forestman@1333745 said: Whats really funny is that there are men and women fighting in the Middle East who are bronies/pegasisters. I wonder what he thinks of them. |

He's a troll. No need for politics. |
| BlazBrony #1333823 2 months ago |
Words cannot describe how fucked my mind was when I read that, I refuse to believe someone would take the time to write such an article bashing such a huge fanbase and not do any research on it beyond the name of the show.
Therefore, he is a troll until proven otherwise. |
| Anonymous #1333831 2 months ago |
there is need for politics. If you see someone in media being homophobic, sexist, or close minded you can be 99 percent sure they're conservative. |
| Zincy #1333844 2 months ago |
Breitbart TV ea? Maybe this guy will go the way of Breitbart.... |
| sargesprinkles #1333888 2 months ago |
Anon 831, that's very closed minded of you |

Bob Vandervoort moderated a Thursday afternoon panel at the CPAC 2012 conference, entitled, "The Failure of Multiculturalism: How the Pursuit of Diversity is Weakening the American Identity." Vandervoort listed his organizational affiliation as executive director of ProEnglish—an English-Only outfit founded by John Tanton. What he left out of his bio is that he was also the organizer of the white nationalist group, Chicagoland Friends of American Renaissance, while he lived in Illinois.
spoke at CPAC this year as well included: Breitbart, Ann Coulter, Palin, Mitt Romney on "why we cling to god guns and religion, Kirk Cameron and more. Here's this as well- http://www.livescience.com/18132-intelligence-social-conservatism-racism.html |

He sounds just as ignorant of the show as Kathleen Richter did when she wrote for Ms. Magazine.
For those of you not familiar, Kathleen's article and Lauren Faust's rebuttal are excellent reading. |
| Anonymous #1333977 2 months ago |
At least dumb ass Kathleen Richter kind of helped start the brony movement in her own way. I doubt this prick will ever do anything useful unless his corpse fertilizes some truffles or something. |
| Yorec #1333994 2 months ago |
Oh man I remember Kathleen's article. Twas a good laugh I had at the conclusions she came to. |

So is this guy for real or is it Satire? |
| Anonymous #1338043 2 months ago |
reads through it
The article's nothing to get steamed over. No serious thought was harmed in the creation of that post. Which is pretty much the way conservatism goes, really -- it's about easy answers, stereotype reasoning, and fallacious logical shortcuts. There was even a study to this effect: Low-Effort Thought Promotes Political Conservatism. The tl;dr: there's a reason libs are associated with universities, book groups and coffee shops -- liberal conclusions that differ from conservative conclusions tend to be the ones that you come to after carefully rethinking the conclusion you jumped to, which is why liberalism has the whole "thinking" vibe associated with it. Unlike, say, the linked breitbart.com post. |

The article left me uncertain, but his tweets after the shitstorm firmly convinced me that he is in fact trolling... unless he is trying to act like he was trolling to begin with in order to excuse his lack of research. He did retweet that guy who started a conservative bronies' group on Facebook, so I guess he did learn that not all of us are liberal sissies. |
