Honestly, I dint have a difficult drawing the snout, or face in total. I still have more "sarcasm" fun drawing the body then anything. Face is no longer a problem, but the body is hell. |

lol they don't have a 3d snout as far as i can tell, when the ponies turn their heads. from the front view it suddenly disappears and all what's left to see is the nostril and a small line above that indicates where the Nasal bone is located... |

Snouts aren't so hard. What you do is use the side of the eye and continue that in a line that curves into an oval and then a moon for the smile. It's one line so it's easy to remember how to draw it. You curve it differently depending on how much cuteness you want to pack in it.
What I find incredibly hard is drawing smooth lines - or is there some kind of setting in Photoshop that smooths them out? If anyone would like to trade advice let me know. |
