Place the folder in a generic place where someone would not think twice looking and just call it something like Copyright or something along those lines. Well I don't own a mac anything so I'm not sure if something like this would work. |

Also, be sure to remove the folder from the Spotlight search things.
I hid the folder deep in my computers guts and renamed all the file extensions so people stumbling upon them accidentally can't open them. Though, my friend keeps them in a hidden archive inside of an encrypted archive on the "backup" partition of his hard drive. |

And store it in an application By that i mean, got to a random application Control click, select 'show package contents' Put inside the code_signiture Don't worry, this doesn't effect the application The things you put in there are now hidden via finder, and can't be found through usual searching, although opening the file in an application will still show on recent items that you did God I don't know why I'm telling you this, I am very against rule 34 D:< |

Oh, there used to be some programs that encrypt, like FolderBolt. But that's old, not MacOSX. Classic Mac. It just scrambles the directory's location, not the file. A special shortcut icon is dropped in place. You can't delete the icon without the password. It stays put. |

@144 It's incredibly easy to navigate through those. You can hover over the folder to see what's inside, and if you do click the wrong one, you can press one button and you're back where you were before.
That said, I encrypt all sensitive documents. |

Hide the pics in a massive tree of meaningless folders, in which no pattern in names or structure can be found, some of which contain a few junk documents, with the actual content at the very bottom of 25 levels of folders. Name the folder path something that makes sense only to you, perhaps each correct folder being two or three sequential letters in a sentence or phrase, and give all the other folders similar names so that no pattern can be recognized. Name the root folder something inconspicuous, like 'Templates' or something, and put it in a program's folder in program files x86 and make it a hidden folder.
Or, have some integrity and delete it. Lol. (also drop the mac into the ocean while you're at it) |

Put a dot in front of the folder name (e.g. "/Users/you/Desktop/.clop/"). Find/make an AppleScript to show/hide hidden folders. Same technique I've been using to hide my plans for world domination for years, and no one's found out about those yet. Oh, shit.... |
