I watched Hetalia for a bit.
And i don't get why people seem to hate it... Well sure the characters SEEM to be homosexual (Hah my country actually crushes on a female country so suck it!) and it pokes fun at stereotypes but it's not as terrible as you guys make it seem. Well unless it has a retarded fandom since i didn't look into it too much. |

It's hard to hate Hetalia for stereotypes, because EVERYTHING in the show is stereotyped, including Japan.
It's like getting angry with Punch Out!! for stereotypes, despite the fact that a Japanese company gleefully created Piston Hondo. |

I started watching Hetalia just a few days ago and I think it's pretty decent. Some jokes are pretty good, I love good stereotypes and I even learned a few things about history and politics. It's also the first anime to have a better english dub than the original japanese because of all the hilarious accents.
But the best part is how each episode is like 5 minutes long and perfect for a quick watch between activities or short waits. And the homosexual vibes ... well not really imo, except france. |
