I guess what I'm trying to say is that there's nothing wrong with a lady expecting a little more from her date. In canon, Blueblood is an asshole. We can all agree on that. Switch the gender roles around and Rarity is a sexist creep who expects women to cater to him, and Blueblood just wants a date who isn't a total sleezebag towards her.
I don't know any respectable women in real life that are okay with guys walking all over them. At the same time though, a man that lets his date use and abuse him is pussywhipped and a joke. It's good to be chivalrous and polite, but wear the damn pants. |
