If I'm not mistaken, a second season was in production before Studio B and Hasbro even caught wind of the Brony thing, so I'm not sure how much different it would be. Background stuff would be different, for sure. No Derpy, no Lyra/BonBon, Vinyl probably wouldn't have made an appearance in the finale. But the creators of the show have said again and again they aren't going to change the show to cater to Bronies specifically. Ultimately, the show would've probably been about the same, just without the occasional fanservice here and there. |

i don't think drastically different
just background stuff would change. if they didn't write luna into the finale no one would bat an eye, the derpy scene would've been written as "ditzy do" (and derpy would just be some background pony), Scratch might've still shown up at the wedding, but it wouldn't have meant anything, and Dr. Whooves wouldn't have been in charge of the giant timepiece during Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 |

Most of the season 2 was scripted, voice acted and even animated during season 1. They did it without knowing anything about us, because a year ago the fandom was very small. Discord would exist without us. Derpy would be ordinary background pony, with normal eyes.
I believe S2 would have been 99% identical to what we saw, because they didn't know we existed for most of the S2 production. Season 3 might the real deal. Because now they all know that we exist. It's very possible that S3 would not exist without us. Personal opinion, of course. |

I would say it would be generally the same, maybe a few less in-jokes to the older fans (No derpy references or appearances) maybe less Luna. But generally still the same. Even without the older fans, there are still plenty of younger fans. |

Yes, but go ahead and watch season one again, then watch season two, season two has a completely different air to it that season one did. They doubled the amount of jokes and references that season one had, heck, The Last Roundup had a Deadpool reference made by PINKIE, you can't tell me that's a complete fluke. While it's true they won't pander to the Brony group to the point they chance the shows very soul, it's obvious they've gone nuts with all of the jokes BECAUSE of the Bronies, because they know we'd get the jokes and appreciate them, while they do make the show to be enjoyable by adults over half of Se2's humor seems to come from jokes and references that little kids wouldn't get at all. it's true that the eps of se2 would be the same, season two plays almost soley by rule of funny, while season one didn't. So long story short, se2 would have been 85% the same, but the humor would've been alot more sedate than it was |

Zancrow's arguement is incredibly flawed. The writers and the animators work hand in hand, and you cannot say that there is no brony influence. There would have never been the 'flying fuck' line in my little pony if the writers weren't onboard writing to appeal to bronies. There is a difference between letting the adults enjoy, and allowing the adults to enjoy A LOT. |
