Shouldn't she be trying to fly like a a Pegasi and not like a bird? |

Scootaloo can fly! Why just look at the Gabby Gums episode she flies just her head is so full of f- that she can't raise it! |

She does tend to buzz her wings instead of flap, and she has never done more than hover a little bit. |

More along the lines of she's trying to fly like an insect despite currently having bird-wings. |

Today would be the day! The day she would tell her friends the truth! Skitterix, no, Scootaloo (and she was most definitely Scootaloo now, despite sometimes having to remind herself) grinned nervously, looking over the juice boxes and the modest box of cookies she'd managed to purchase with the few bits to her name. Sugary sweets, she'd learned, tended to have a desirable placating effect on most ponies. Or at least, most young ponies. With her preparations set, Scootaloo turned back toward the door to the clubhouse, pawing anxiously at the floorboards. "I shouldn't be so worried..." she thought, forcing a smile. "Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle are my friends. This 'honesty' thing will be tough, but as long as I tell them the whole truth, I'm sure they'll---"
At that moment, the tromp of small hooves on the wooden stairs outside interrupted the "pegasus'" thoughts, Sweetie Belle's high pitched wail bringing the fillies' conversation into focus. "It was SO GROSS!!!" "Aww, c'mon now Sweetie, it was just a lil ol bug... "Just a little old bug!? Did you SEE it Apple Bloom!? It was HORRIBLE!!!" "Well... Ah guess it WAS mighty gross..." Smile falling, Scootaloo turned and swept the treats she'd laid out off the table and into he nearby trunk, returning her expression to a schooled, enthusiastic one as her friends walked through the door. "Hey girls!" She said breezily. Tomorrow would definitely be the day! The day she told her friends the truth! |
