@468: they don't need Rule 34 as they're already canonically fucking. Also, it would actually make sense as @152 pointed out and a sub-rule of rule 34 is to never actually make any fucking sense. |

And this is why the fan rage over the whole "Royal Wedding" thing was defused so quickly. The writers were smart enough to not only come up with a logical reason for why Shining Armor and Cadence were a part of the cast, but also a great backstory explaining how they became lovers.
We were expecting two strange ponies, instead we got Twilight's older brother banging her baby-sitter. Is this not brilliant writing? |

^^ The fan rage over the royal wedding was seriously unwarranted in the first place. People were getting mad because they thought it was just going to be a toy advertisement even though the writers have proven in the past that they knew how to make something as toy-centric as MLP an entertaining cartoon. Really, the rage was just fucking stupid. |
