I feel like in emulating crookedtrees this artist is missing the point. Ask Pinkamena was dark, very dark, but it wasn't all about the gore.
Crookedtrees's version seemed to delve more into Pinkamena's psychosis and her relationship with Scootaloo rather than showing her killing ponies. In fact I don't even think the original tumblr showed them being killed, they were already dead and being disposed of. |

To me this is kinda like those remake of classic slasher movies Like how the Texas Chainsaw massacre only used a few pints of blood and most of the kills were off screen/panel but its 1000000000x better than the remake because it uses that effective and the real horror comes form the crazy red neck family. And the only reason why people like this is because its Lowest Common Denominator and/or tries to be like Crookedtrees but not too long form now people are going to stop caring because they desensitized and so realized its just stupid |

Ya know, I didn't care for cupcakes. I don't much like grimdark stuff either.
I did, however, REALLY enjoy CT's Pinkamena. I'm not entirely sure why, but it drew me in. I'm willing to give this a chance, but I promise nothing. |
