This isn't even a good troll. The entire season would be much more suitable for a right-wing misinterpretation by stressing the need for "national fraternity".
Actually, I found it surprising how they wove together medieval justification for class society (note how the non-productive classes are attributed control over natural events similiar to how medieval royals were believed to guarantuee good weather and bountiful harvests) with modern national foundation myths (an entire nation standing together across class boundaries - of course, without ever placing them into question - and by having everyone in his place they defeat an external danger) |
