@Psychopomf To invert this, most, if not all, changelings have self-esteem issues. Most of them live quietly among the ponies feeding on scraps of misdirected love, but the really self-hating ones get so hungry that they try to... TAKE OVER EQUESTRIA!!!
In order to forever neutralize the changeling threat the ponies have to read them Ayn Rand's books. Or just send them some good shrinks. |

In that big fight scene, when all of them shapeshifted it was all green magic.
They probably have to be really careful not to mimic unicorns with different-colored magic. |

No one seemed to mind that Cadence suddenly started using green magic. Maybe horned ponies just decide on a color and generally stick with it, but can change if they want. |
