Sukia and Satori... i'm not sure. Marisa the flying earthpony and Patchy the super magical mare with dragon assistant might be seen as overpowered mary sues... On the other hoof, how would batman pony or a megatron pony be recieved if thier series didn't exist? Or a Cthulupony. |

Pretty good pairings here. Twilight/Patchouli and Rainbow Dash/Marisa are probably the most obvious ones, but the other ones work nicely too. |

And yes, Marisa is a magical flying earth pony, who toiled for year to get to the point where she could flip off the laws of physics. Reimu as well, but from being bros with gods rather than intense magical study. |

^^^ Actually, all through the PC-98 series Reimu couldn't fly on her own. She developed her own method of flight opposed to the magic everyone else uses, which is why her special ability is flying. She learned how to make Reality not effect her, which is how she can fly, she ignores the scientific laws of gravity, inertia and friction. It's also why her strongest spell card is so over powered. She becomes a reality onto herself and completely ignores every single law of science to be come completely invincible(Basically, she doesn't have a hitbox while in that state using game rules.). |
