Quit being pretentious anon xxxx289, people draw what color eye they fucking want and i dont really mind if it's red or magenta. It's like complaining about a Zelda draw with brown hair, sure blonde hair is the current one but some people just prefer brunette. |

How about this:
The show has never had a character with that eye template coloured blood red, the closest to red they've ever got on that template is magenta, which, let's face it, is a very close colour to red. The used magenta eyes because that's what they already had and didn't have to spend any extra time recolouring the eyes for the sake of a half-second shot. Now consider this, how many times have you seen fan works deliberately contradict canon for the sake of getting an idea out, or providing entertainment? If you say none, then you must be very new here. Fan works NEVER have to follow the show's canon, the same that show's canon NEVER has to acknowledge fan works. Be glad the animators gave Vinyl a pair of eyes with a striking colour - and also brought her back into the show in the first place. At the same time, don't expect everybody to follow Vinyl's show-canon eyes because fan works are not obligated to do so. |
