"suddenly a brother" = Some minor grumbles of dislike. Some people pointed out that Twilight never talked about him before shutting up. I even saw some bronies who had been angered by the "3 Alicorns" retake interest in the wedding episode It's ranked way to high on this chart. "suddenly third alicorn" = This did cause a significant shitstorm. The fact that Cadence wasn't supposed to be an Alicorn (according to Faust) and the widely held idea that there were only 2 Alicorns caused some unrest. But, by the time the episode came out most had made up a headcanon excuse for her being an Alicorn. |

I think that Studio B is smart enough to avoid the top one.
The only way that it would happen is if Hasbro makes them do it like they did the royal wedding, but I think Studio B has enough common sense to tell Hasbro that it would be a really bad idea. |

Personally, I liked the fanon characterization of Luna before the Nightmare Night episode, but the new Luna was actually all that I hoped and then some. She was a stronger, rougher interpretation, but also the shy, socially stunted one at times. I don't know how Hasbro did it, but they took the two extremities and made one cute princess <3 <3 <3 |

To be honest, I don't see any big discrepensies between the original fanon Luna and Nightmare Night Luna. She seemed like a total shut in who was really nervous about meeting people, and had no idea how to cope with rejection or any sort of interaction with people.
And the reaction to a straight marriage with Rainbow Dash would be to shitstorms what the apocalypse is to a thunder storm. |

Ponychan's problem is that it has the true nutjob desktop warriors people think a nerd/fanboy is.
They sit there making up tallies and making a sport of how horrible everything is or how they 'own' the cartoon because they love it more than the creators. Ponychan is irredeemable. It should literally burn in a fire. |
