@werkbau Please, no Shin Mazinger... As a Mazinger fan since basically day one, that "fan-porn collection" hurts. And I was able to stomach MazinSaga and Z Mazinger...
(Why "fan porn"? Well, let's see: Koji rehashed as ultra-badass from day one, Baron Ashura turned into a superhuman being, Zeus, Energer, even poor Gloizer X turned into a Hell Machine... basically they picked up everything "cool" in the past Mazinger series and compressed it into a single patchwork abomination) |

You are entitled to your opinion, but Super Robot Wars Z2.2(Saisei-hen) made it look glorious. I enjoyed both the original (+manga, too) and Shin Mazinger. They were different, but I had fun with both. And, heck, I kinda enjoyed the new Ashura subplot as it was (actually it was the highlight of the series for me...). Such a pity you didn't like it. |
