Australia is the only country getting Season 1 on DVD, so it's not like Canada are the only ones getting screwed. >:( |

copyright laws are a bitch, its hardly hasbro's fault per se. Whichever channel gets the right to broadcast a show in a given country doesn't want the episodes available online because it would reduce their viewership. And they obviously won't even accept a compromise that wouldn't really affect them anyway.
Also, I'm pretty sure some canadian-made shows never even aired on Canadian television. |

The show's first series came to the UK nearly a year after it started in America. They then put it on an obscure channel at 3PM, when kids are still at school. It's since been taken off the air. To make matters worse, the UK's largest toy retailer, Argos, hasn't picked up the line and Toys 'R' Us has very limited (and out of date) stock, making Tesco the best place to get anything. Only now, just as the second series is finished has it appeared on Netflix. Well done, Great Britain. Not bad going for an island that used to have mountains of exclusive content.
