The flaws are more evident in the Sonic fandom than most. Endless recolors, shoddy OC's, vitriol-infused flamewars, and one of the most vocally unpleasable group of "fans" has made them the joke of the 'net. |

^ In a nutshell, Ian (the head writer) has basically pulled the "Heroes hit rock bottom" story. Sally's roboticized Bunnie's de-roboticized (bad cuz now she's powerless), Antione's in a coma, and the original Freedom Fighters are officially over. So Sonic and the others who are still functional are having to get back up from the bottom. The problem with many fans is pretty much the fact that the heroes are getting beat. They don't like that Sonic is actually losing, and they're flipping a huge shit over Sally bein roboticized, claiming Ian is trying to kill her off and bla bla bla. They say it's "too dark" for Sonic. Now don't get me wrong, not everyone is like that, but those that don't are extremely vocal about it. |

In a nutshell, they don't like Sonic being shown as not invincible, but the biggest is Sally roboticized. Many Sally fans are super sensitive about her from all the shipping wars, so when she gets hurt in actual media, they absolutely flipped. |

MLP is presented by FiM cartoon, THE BEST thing that came out of the franchise, but Sonic is presented by the 2005 games,ONE OF THE WORST things that came out of his franchise. The 'issue' with Sonic fandom is how extremely combative it has become, even towards other Sonic fans. Plus, for some stupid reason, furry haters target it unfairly.
Just way too much drama about nothing. MLP fandom has some, but Sonic fandom drama is a bit over the top. That said, I'm fine with Sonic fanbase and Sonic games just fine. Just not with the drama sometimes. |

on a sepeate topic, my overactive imagination had a weird idea for a short comic... panel 1: dash hiding in a corner. panel 2: mario and sonic with a blank, slightly horrafied look on their faces, staring at yoshi, who is holding a rainbow colored egg. panel 3: same thing as last panel, except with dialouge.
