"Fairy Horror"

That's the most accurate description I've seen for her to date

I thought about it, Anon 846, but I decided that while they're called changelings, they don't quite feel like they have the same flavour as the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor Shapeshifters.

I might change it though. We'll see.

A question: what happens if you use the second ability, and then the first ability?

Queen Chrysalis becomes a copy of the target, yes? Including its name. Which means that "Queen Chrysalis" is no longer in play, yes? So the target of her second ability would be freed.

@ above: The name of the creature printed in a text box actually always means "this card".

Hurm. See, I thought it made an interesting trade-off for using her first ability. Okay, then.

You still lose the ability to tap things though. It could probably mix the stay tapped ability with the clone ability. And instead give something that changes her back.

Might want to reduce the cost of the first activated ability and make it until end of turn, just so you don't lose the chance to tap down creatures forever.

Y no Changeling ability?

I just redid the first ability by giving it an "escape clause" of sorts: "You may pay U/BU/BU/BU/B to end this ability."

Though I should check if something's got a better way to word that...

It's like fear, but instead of black it's the colours of the creature.

So, in this instance, Queen Chrysalis can only be blocked by blue, black, and artifact flyers.

This isn't really how her character works. I think you're trying too hard.
