I'm totally for some of the characters being homosexual or at least non-heterosexual (like Rainbow Dash X Pinkie Pie, or Lyra X Bon Bon) but I really don't think every single best friends pair we see needs to be gay... |

^ OP: I don't think Silver Spoon is gay, just gay for Diamond Tiara. Like how Smithers is a "burnsexual". Plus, i can't really get this image out of my head:
