It hasn't been shown to be otherwise, though. She's never been shown to be incredibly powerful or solve things on her own, or at least very rarely. But I still love her. |

I miss my headcanon of her being a greek pantheon-style god. Powerful, but prefers to do work through proxies because that's just how gods roll.
She really needs an episode where she gets to save the day and redeem herself. Seriously. I can see the Mane Six and Luna being knocked out of commission, leaving Celestia as Equestria's final line of defense. I don't see her failing as easily if she's "our last hope". Because, you know, the good guys have to win in the end. |

I got a theory: Maybe there's a villain in Equestria( or on the plat where Euestria is if it is not the only country on it) that's actually more powerful than anything seen on the show? A villain so powerful that all the races form an alliance to defeat it? Would someone write a fanfic based on this idea? I imagined the villlain as a creature that was once human but something made both more and less human that thinks or is the last human or that it thinks itself the last human. Who else thinks think it could be a good fanfic idea? |

I want to see a Metal Wolf Chaos x My Little Pony crossover.
Celestia, disgraced and incapable as a ruler, is overthrown by a changeling in the guise of her sister Luna, and a slew of loyalists. She mulls over her incompetence for a few years, decides that she will never fail her people again, forms a coalition, and wages war against the corrupt regime with a humongous mecha. It would be hilarious, because that game is hilarious. |

Umm, she managed to easily stop filly Twilight's magical outburst at the entrance exam that completely overpowered six grown unicorns, four of which were trained professionals at a school for gifted unicorns.
She dispelled the entire town of Ponyville after Twilight's "want it, need it" spell backfired. She raises the motherfucking sun every day. You know, that gigantic ball of fire. So really, saying that she's never shown her power before is just dishonest. This is the first time she actually stood a chance against a real villain and fought with all her power, the times before that she already knew that she doesn't stand a chance because she no longer wields the elements of harmony. |

But she's not Worf-esque. Celestia was never shown explicitly fighting. She is magically powerful and all, but she's a PRINCESS. She is NOT a warrior.
Plus, Worf had to contend with Eldritch monstrosities and pure cyborgs (like Data) who were pretty much invincible. Against any normal sentient beings, Worf absolutely destroys them bare-handed. |
