Blueblood isn't special though.
Although maybe the "alicorn" mutation is female specific, and Blueblood is actually a real blood relative. Kind of like many insects, only the females rule. |

IN MY HEADCANON...Celestia not only introduced Cadence to Shining Armor, she also had her foalsit Twilight so the latter could identify her in the event that someone attempted to impersonate Cadence. In fact, after the big party at the reception, Celestia immediately called Light Yagami and said "In yo' face, deity wannabe!" |
