Daggoth and Zasz are two Cerebrates (basically the generals for the Overmind) in Starcraft. Since the changelings as a whole are being compared to zerg, those names would go well (plus they sound awesome.) Samir could also work two (Samir Duran.) |

I chose carapace because the word is related to both insects and armor, specifically it refers to a protective dorsal shell.
Shining Armor, Carapace, it made sense to me. Erzatz is kind of generic, and Chitin doesn't work as well as Carapace. Chit just seems to be a short form of Chitin, and I have no idea where Carrasque comes form. |
