I've seen this Rule 63 before. Don't Barb's cheek-fins point down, like pig-tails?

Spike is now a happy tree friends character. Are you proud of yourself yet?

Her cheek fins are also two-heart shapes, for a total of four bumps, not three.

Looks like she's wearing a facial mask. Made of guacamole.

^Actually, when I started making Barb images, it was just the cheeks that were green.

When I drew this, it was based on someone else's genderswap pieces, not Trotsworth's. I just prefer this version, simply because I found it an interesting spin on rule 63 spike.

@panda: It was probably a later edition; people suggested I change what I had and wound up with something like this.

@dragonSpike I'm actually unclear as to when it was made, but I do know for a fact that Emlan (the person who designed it) didn't use Trotsworth's designs as a reference to make their picture, at all. In fact they still didn't know until someone told them. I just found it unique to see an interesting spin on barb/spines, and it be completely original. Seeing Trotsworth's version, I planned to do something similar, and recreate it in the style of the show (though someone else did some too)

This is actually pretty good. I may even like it a little more than Trotsworth's version.
