No, because Twilight's initial instincts about Zecora were right, and she was only afraid because of things the others said.
It was a subversion of the sitcom misunderstanding, though, so it would seem like it. |

it's just u. the fear of zecora was based in the unkown. twilight's suspicion of cadence was much different becuz she knew cadence her whole life and she seemed fishy |

Also, OP, you know you can call it a "moral" instead of quoting TV Tropes, right? |
| Anonymous #1305571 2 months ago |
@5533 That ignores the instincts of the other 5. |

It's just you.
The message was "trust your instincts" not "JUDGE EVERYONE BY THEIR APPEARANCE." In fact, Twilight didn't judge Fake Cadence by her appearance, but by her actions. If she had "judged the book by its cover," she would have bought the "she's just being a bitch because weddings are stressful" excuse. |

You really shouldn't take the morals of the episodes too seriously since they are just basic morals to teach kids.
Morals can be interpreted in different ways by different people like the one at the end of Bridle Gossip, some may see it as 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' while others might see it as 'Don't be racist'. So, yeah, don't think about it too hard otherwise you might start making assumptions about things that aren't really there. [/rant] |

Convergent moral: Things are not always as they seem. Bridle Gossip just takes this in a more positive manner. |
