ALTERNATE HEADCANON:
Luna was awake during the invasion, but was busy kicking Changeling ass to protect as many of Canterlot's citizens as she could. She COULD have gone to help take on Chrysalis, but that would've meant leaving all those ponies to face the Changeling Horde alone. And she couldn't bring herself to do that. |
