All the changelings are technically genderless. When the previous queen dies, one changelings is selected by the rest and fed with love and emotions until she develops into a new queen and lay hundreds of eggs which then become new changelings. Each hive only has one queen at a time, but sometimes groups of changelings wander off and form new hives. Life is amazing. |
