@032: It ruins the picture because it makes zero frigging sense! There's no context to this picture at all. You say that the picture revolves around Twilight's discovery of the book, but the picture makes it looks like she's unpacking her stuff, not "discovering" anything.
It's not the only thing in the picture that doesn't make sense -- we've got an older Twilight with a baby Spike, which just hurts my brain. |

That's also possible but I think they're making him similar to G3 Spike. The Blue colored adult one that was a thousand years old but still had a tiny body. |

I was just checking to see if my story has been made public on FimFiction yet (it hasn't), but I did happen to notice a link from the stats page leading back here. As candrew mentioned, yes, I commissioned this as cover art for my fan fic, The Gospel According to Twilight Sparkle:

My fic explains how the Bible got there, Twilight's reaction to it, and, incidentally, why Spike hasn't grown fully yet. In short, I'll say the anonymous user who said the Bible is a "relic from fallen ancient civilization" got it right, and Spike is still young because he never succumbed to his greed. Palestorm was really great about commissioning this for me. When I described the content, she said she was willing to do it, and I couldn't be happier with the final product. --Vulpix |
