Man, that was really funny how both new episodes involved insect-like enemies.

It's like they planned it or something...

Chrysalis ain't got SHIT on the Insecticons. In fact attacking Megatron is a death wish.

I beg to fucking differ. Chrysalis was able to kick Celestia's ass, and she's a fucking God.

Yeah, but Megatron has no one to love so therefore, her changelings and herself have their food supply cut off. Also, Megatron has Dark Energon on his side and and entire army of Insecticons who gave even him a hard time in Kaon, the Decepticon's capital. Also, though you are right that she was able to defeat Celestia, let's see how well she handles another god-like being, Unicron the Chaos Bringer.

^ Love can mean many things, love of others, love of conquest, love of victory ect.

And Megatron only fought and won against Unicron's avatars, relative peanuts compared to Unicron's 'true' strength. So anyone against him at full power, one on one, is royally screwed.

Irregardless if such a fight were to happen between Megatron and Chrysalis, it'd be pretty fucking lame if either side were to landslide the other, so headcanon is they're even.

You also forget Megatron has Unicron's BLOOD. Rafael almost died from that stuff in energy form, imagine if Chrysalis got splattered with that stuff.

Yes, she kicked Celestia's ass.

And Celestia is a god.

A God who actually cares for the well-being of her subjects. As such, she would be doing everything in her power to not only stop Chrysalis, but also to protect everyone from her attacks.

Megatron...

Megatron is a combat pragmatist in any situation not involving Optimus Prime. He would have no issues with slaughtering everyone in Canterlot to starve Chrysalis of her power. And if he had to purge Equestria of all life to do so, well...it wouldn't be the first time he rendered an entire planet lifeless just to win.

What was the first time?

Cybertron itself. In the war, Megatron(since Prime and War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron exist in the same general united continuity) corrupted the core of the planet to ensure victory. When the Autobots initiated the purging process, it forced the core to enter hibernation for millions of years, rendering Cybertron uninhabitable.

So yea, to say that he would have no problem slaughtering anyone and everyone that could be used as a source of power for Chrysalis would be an understatement. Because remember, "Everything is fodder". Even his own men aren't safe from personally being used to pave his path to glory if it ensures his victory.

So yea, Chrysalis is powerful to take down Celestia. But she requires love to have power, and so she can't slaughter everypony to win.

Megatron has no restraints.

Don't forget, Megatron also killed Primus who IS Cybertron. Not only did he render Cybertron uninhabitable, he also killed the very creator of the Transformers.

Let's not forget, Chrysalis cares deeply about her own children. At least I think they're her children I really don't know. Megatron, his troops might as well be pawns in a chess match.
